[New York] BTS from Ayano & Shota's wedding portrait session!

Aloha!

This weekend, I had a quick business trip to New York for a bridal photo shoot and two photography lessons. Our original plan was to have a photo shoot on Friday and then photo lessons on Saturday, however, the weather was not the best on Friday so we had to move it to Saturday - ending up that was the best so I can scout more places in New York again before our photo shoot :) It has been 8 months since I last shot in NY, so it was great to refresh my memory about beautiful locations in NY beforehand.

This is actually our 3rd time shooting together with Ayano and Shota since last November - First was at their wedding day in Hawaii, then we met up in Baa Atoll in Maldives for our second shoot, then the third as a grand finale, we met up in NY this time to have their wedding photos taken at my favorite locations. It was very nice to see them so many times in such short time, and at various beautiful locations in the world. I will be writing about our NY shoot later on, but today I wanted to share a few BTS photos I received from the groom Shota!

Fun fact about my photography style - I usually use 4 lenses at most of my shoots and I like changing lenses depending on what and how I am shooting. I think I change lenses much more than other photogs.

I often end up shooting at bizarre places - I didn’t know I was shooting right next to garbage cans. Anything for the beautiful photos, right? #Photoglife
